I was born in Vancouver, Canada to a British father and Cuban mother. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design where I majored in Photography. I also studied Social Sciences at Simon Fraser University. In fall of 2004 I began a 13 month adventure travelling around Cuba and taking workshops at the Superior Institute of Art in Havana.
